SPRINGFIELD, Mass. –
In the annual Doug Parker Invite at Springfield College, Coast Guard finished in 1st place out of the 15 schools competing with 162 points. This is the 6th consecutive year CGA has won the event.
The top seed at 133 pounds,
Chase Randall(Spokane, WA) cruised through his bracket. After a first round bye, Randall dominated each of his matchups en route to victory. Much like Randall,
Carl DiGiorgio(Doylestown, PA) handled his 285 pound bracket and won his way to victory.
Along with the two bracket winners, Coast Guard also had four 2nd place finishers. At 197 with
Kevin Pandorf(Elmer, NJ), 157 with
Jacob Woodburn(Greensboro, NC), 149 with
Nathan Fitt(Branchville, NJ), and 125 with
Nikko Beato(San Diego, CA). Their two 3rd place finishers were
Tye Barker(Las Cruces, NM) at 157 and
Kenny Marra(Salem, OH) at 184.
Nine other Bears athletes finished in the top six in their brackets:

Coast Guard will get next Saturday off before traveling to the University of Southern Maine for the Ted Reese Invitational on December 7th.
