Kosack, Scalesse Shine in Day One at ECAC Championships

NEW YORK, N.Y--Junior Clay Kosack had a strong first day with two personal records in the heptathlon at the ECAC Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the New York Armory.

Kosack ran 7.54 in the 60 meters, cleared 5 feet, 5.25 inches in the high jump and had the third best mark in the shot put with a toss of 37' 11.25". Clay also jumped 18 feet 10.75 inches in the long jump.

Junior All-American Adam Scalesse posted a time of 8.30 in the preliminary round of the 60m hurdles to qualify for the final round contested tomorrow.
