LOWELL, Mass. --
Allie Wildsmith(Bainbridge Island, WA) soared to a school record in the high jump clearing a bar at 1.78m (5'10") surpassing her previous record of 1.73m (5' 8") set in 2023. Wildsmith's clearance is the 5th best jump in Div. 3 Outdoor Track & Field 3 history and currently ranked #1 in D3 and #29 among all divisions.

In the long jump, Kaylee Wright(Plainwell, MI) recorded an outstanding performance of 5.50m (18' .5") on her way to a 7th place finish only centimeters off her school record of 5.56m. Wright also competed in the triple jump setting a new personal best of 10.69m (35' 1") a new #4 on CGA's All-Time List.

In the running events, Grace Flynn(Severna Park, MD) was 6thin the 400 meters running 59.32 while Sophia White(Gurley, AL) was 4th in the 800 meters running 2:17.87.
 
HARTFORD, Conn. --
Makenna Topp(Anthem, AZ) and Ella Besant(Morehead, KY) took first and second place in the 400 meter dash. Topp's time of 57.05 is CGA's second fastest performance of all time while Besant's time of 58.76 is the 4th fastest time. Alaina Stonebraker(Sandy, UT) was third in the 100m dash running a collegiate best time of 12.35 both in the preliminary and finals rounds.

Kate Stebbins(Chapin, SC) ran to a 6th place finish in the 800 meters crossing the line at 2:20.14. Teammate Hannah Edwards(Highland Village, TX) ran a personal record time of 4:51.49 in the 1500 meters. In the 5000 meters, Mary Faltys(Schuyler, NE) and Mia Mastrogiovanni(Manahawkin, NJ) placed 2nd and 4th 19:20.99 and 19:33.11 respectively.

Leading the way in the field events was Maureen Hammond(Downington, PA) winning the shot put. Hammond's top throw was 11.89m (39' .25"). Teammate Jacey Tippman(Venice, FL) was runner-up in the javelin throwing 33.84m (111'). In the jumping events, Madelyn Greene(Chesapeake Beach, MD) was 6th in the triple jump with a mark of 10.27 (33' 8.5") and 8th in the long jump with a 4.80m (15' 9").

The Bears will be back in action next week for the NEWMAC Championship, hosted by Mount Holyoke College.
