CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — With the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships due to start next Thursday, May 22nd, Coast Guard Academy seniors Paige Phillips (Wilmington, N.C.) and Sophia White (Gurley, Ala.) competed yesterday at MIT's Final Qualifier meet to improve their stocks before Selection Day.

Phillips ran the 1500 meters and placed 11th overall at 4:39.10, the sixth-best time among Division III runners in the event. The time was a personal outdoor record and moved her up to third on the program's all-time list. White entered the 800m and finished tenth with a season-best 2:14.74, seventh-fastest among D-III runners.

Selections for this year's national championships will be revealed tonight by 8:00 PM EST, via official press release from the NCAA on their website.
