Women's Distance Medley Relay earns second team All-American Honors

ROCHESTER, N.Y. --

The Distance Medley Relay of Paige Phillips(Wilmington, NC), Grace Flynn(Severna Park, MD), Sophia White(Gurley, AL), and Claire Semerod(Centennial, CO) placed 9th running 11:51.01 on their way to earn Second Team All American Honors running 11:51.01. 

Paige Phillips led off the relay running the 1200m leg in 3:40.37 followed by Grace Flynn running the 400m leg at 58.09. Sophia White took the baton for the 800m leg with a 2:13.64 and Claire Semerod anchored the 1600m leg with a 4:58.92. Their time ranks as CGA's 2nd fastest DMR in school history.

Tomorrow, Allie Wildsmith(Bainbridge Island, WA) will compete in the long jump for the Bears in day two of the NCAA Indoor National Championship.
