Defensive Assistant

Matt is in his third season as a member of the Bears coaching staff.

He is a 1998 graduate of the academy and was a member of both of the 1996 and 1997 teams which won Freedom Football Conference (FFC) championships and made the only two NCAA playoff appearances in program history.

Matt was also an assistant with the Bears during the 2006 and 2007 seasons when the team won back-to-back NEFC Bogan championships.

He has served at sea for eight years including CO of CGC RELIANCE and when not at sea he is a member of the Naval Engineering community.

Matt is currently the Missions Support Division officer at the academy.

He and his wife Loren have three children, Spencer, Caroline and Lilli.
