SPRINGFIELD, Mass. --

Junior Glenn Patrick(Fairhope, AK) set the record in the 60 meter dash twice first running 7.08 in the preliminary round and then resetting the record in finals with a time of 7.04. Patrick finished 3rd in the event. The previous record of 7.11 was set by Tieran Bonner in 2011.

Garrett Lamb)La Vernia, TX) was the top finisher for the day in the 200 meters running a season best time of 23.02.

Senior Maalik Song(Southlake, TX) was 5th in the 60 Hurdles running 8.96 in the finals after running an 8.88 in the preliminary rounds.

Miles Taylor(Austin,TX) hit the qualifying standard for the New England D3 Championships next weekend in the 600 meters with a time of 1:26.50 to place 6th. Grant Kellenberger(Mohnton, MA) was 4th in the 800 meters running 2:04.50 while teammate Thomas Lempriere(Seattle, WA) was also 4th in the mile with a 4:33.49. Freshman London Layton(Crofton, MD) was 3rd in the 5000 meters running 16:18.11.

In the field events, Liam Kuperman(Lewiston, NY) was the top finisher across the field events as he soared over 4.15m (13'7.25") in the pole vault. Tytan Moore(St. Petersburg, FL) placed fourth and set a personal record mark in the long jump of 6.54m (21' 5.5") while teammate Adrian Ililau(Koror City, Palau) was 8th with a top mark of 6.25m (20' 6.25"). Moore also placed 6th in triple jump with a best jump of 12.79 (41' 11.5"). In the throws, Philip Kirby(North Andover, MA) was 6th in the weight throw with a best mark of 15.01m (49' 3").

This Friday February 28th, Coast Guard will head to Boston for the NED3 Indoor Championships hosted by Track at New Balance.
