MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — 

Lara Baronsky (Victory, N.Y.) of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy women's swimming & diving team was named in the most recent round-up of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference's (NEWMAC) Athlete of the Week honorees (week ending November 23rd).

Baronsky was named Women's Diver of the Week for her win on the 1-meter board at Brandeis this past Saturday. The junior took the event with a score of 170-17 to contribute to Coast Guard's 187-47 victory over the Judges to keep the team undefeated at 8-0.

Baronsky and the Bears women's swim & dive team have the upcoming weekend off due to the Thanksgiving break, but they'll be back in the pool next weekend when they make the short trip to Connecticut College to take on the Camels and Amherst College.
