NEW LONDON, Conn. – Justin Stasiak's RBI single in the bottom of the 11^th gave Coast Guard a dramatic 6-5 win over Westfield State running the Bears win streak to four.

The Owls scored twice in the top of the 11^th for a 5-3 lead. In the home half, John Tacchini drew bases loaded walk before Grayson Irwin delivered a sacrifice fly to tie the game 5-5 setting the stage for Stasaik's walk off winner.

Coast Guard improves to 9-6 on the season while Westfield State drops to 7-6.

Blake Carroll was 4-for-5 to lead the Bears while Stasiak added pair of hits as the duo combined for six of the teams seven hits in the win.

Cody Fidler threw seven solid innings and allowed three runs on seven hits while walking one and fanning four. Sean Rojas threw a scoreless 11^th inning and picked up his first career win.

Carroll had an RBI single in the first after the Owls took a 2-0 lead. John Carroll had a sacrifice fly in the sixth as the Bears trailed 3-2.

Coast Guard tied the game in the eighth when Blake Carroll singled and later scored on a passed ball.

The Bears are back in action on Saturday when they open NEWMAC play in a doubleheader at noon at MIT.
