NEW LONDON, Conn. –

As a result of their strong 2026 campaigns both on the field and in the classroom, four Coast Guard Baseball players have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Region Team. 

Junior 1B/OF Nathan Stafford (Jupiter, FL), junior C/1B Ayden Gurevich (Lake Worth Beach, FL), and senior 3B Luke Percifield (Pinellas Park, FL) each made the All-Region Team along with senior RHP Tyler Michalek (Fort Worth, TX). 

To be eligible, position players must compete in 90% of the institution's games or start in 66% of games. Pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings. All players must maintain a GPA above 3.50 to be considered.
