GREENSBORO, N.C. — 

The Coast Guard Academy baseball team earned the American Baseball Coaches Association's (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award last Wednesday, July 23.

This honor recognizes ABCA member teams from all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year. Coast Guard were one of 174 teams to make the Division III list.

Fellow New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference teams earning recognition alongside the Bears were Babson College; Clark University, MIT, Salve Regina, and Wheaton College.
