Bears drop mid-week match at Babson

Box Score BABSON PARK, Mass. --

Coast Guard dropped their second in a row in a road battle with Babson College today. The Beavers showed why they are the 13th ranked team in the country, winning 7-0.

Babson improves to 12-2 on the season, 3-0 NEWMAC. They will next host #30 ranked MIT in a league battle on Saturday April 5th at 2:30 PM.

In doubles, the CGA team of Ben Bonetto(Bend, OR) and Brendan Love(Winchester, VA) lost a close match 6-3 to the number one Babson team. Anthony Gregoire(Hagatna, Guam) and Konnor Eslinger(St. Charles, MO) fell 6-0 while Benjamin Carlander(Monument, CO) and Noah Reice(Wilmington, DE) lost 6-1.

In singles, Ben Bonetto won the first set in his match but would lose the next two close to fall to Babson's top singles player Ole Lepsoe(Oslo, Norway).

Coast Guard falls to 1-8(1-2 NEWMAC) on the season. They will travel to Clark University on Saturday April 5th at 2:30 PM.
