The one pairs loss was at the hands of the Bears #1 duo of Ben Bonetto (Bend, Oreg.) and Brendan Love (Winchester, Va.), who defeated MIT's top partnership of Grant Gallagher and Adam Sun in a 6-2 effort.

The lone winner at singles for Coast Guard was Konnor Eslinger (St. Louis, Mo.) who took down Ethan Nguyen at #4 in a three-set win. The Bears' sophomore fell behind after a 3-6 first set, but evened it in the second with a 6-3 effort before taking the tiebreaker at 10-1.
