Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. - Coast Guard men's tennis hosted the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) for indoor tennis action earlier today, but ultimately lost a close one to the Blue Jays by a 3-4 margin.
The Bears move to -6, while Saint Joseph improves to 5-4. The Blue Jays will face CoNE rivals Nichols College (1-8) on March 22nd in an away contest to start their conference schedule.

Brendan Love (Winchester, Va.) took the no. 1 duos match, 6-2, but Saint Joseph prevailed at no. 2 and no. 3 to take the doubles point.
Bonetto won again at no. 1 singles, going three sets with the Blue Jays' top guy before taking the barnburner 5-7, 7-6, 10-8 victory. Freshman

Banjamin Carlander (Monument, Colo.) who took the no. 4 match-up in 6-2, 6-7, 10-6 action.
Next on the schedule for Coast Guard tennis is NEWMAC action, which sees the Bears head to Newport to open up conference play against Salve Regina (0-5). Coast Guard took a 9-0 win in last season's battle.
