MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Day one of the Track & Field NCAA Championships has come to a close with Josh Banks earning All-American status.

Banks cleared five bars over the course of the competition with his highest clearance at 4.99m (16' 4.5"), which was a fifth place finish.

This is the second All-America honors that he's received after his sixth place finish at the indoor national championships.

Teammate Allie Wildsmith will look to also earn the title tomorrow as she competes in the high jump at 1:30 PM.
