NEW LONDON, Conn. --
After a successful 2024 campaign in which Coast Guard won 24 games and earned their first regular season NEWMAC title in program history, the Bears will look to have another successful season in 2025.Â
"We are excited about the challenges of the upcoming season and the schedule we have in front of us." Said head coach
Brian Casey. "We are playing some very strong programs from across the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, including our 16 NEWMAC conference games which should be very competitive this spring."
For CGA, they will be tested early on in preparation for a grueling league schedule. Said coach Casey: "The early spring trips to NJ and the DC/VA areas are always a highlight. It gives us a chance to challenge ourselves in the early stages of the season and prepare for competitive Regional and conference play." Four of their first seven matchups will be against teams who made the NCAA Tournament last season(Catholic, Christopher Newport, Mitchell, and Randolph-Macon) with Christopher Newport and Randolph-Macon making the super regionals.Â
