Box Score CASTLETON, Vt. -- Saint Joseph's College of Maine capped an appearance in the Castleton University Classic with an 81-69 victory over Coast Guard on Saturday. With the loss, Coast Guard falls to 0-2; St. Joseph's improves to 1-1.
The Bears were led by Elijah Parent with 17 points. Cameron Brown added 10 points, while Ben Yagey had nine, and Abe Countryman and Mitch Shettles had eight each. Countryman added nine rebounds, while Luke Farrell added eight, Brown seven, and Shettles six.
The Bears shot 36.8% from the floor and 22.2% from three. Saint Joseph's held the lead in three-pointers made (13), free-throw percentage (71.4%), and bench points (27).
The Bears are back in action on the road on Wednesday, November 16 at 7 PM as they take on the Hawks of Roger Williams.
