NEW LONDON, Conn. – Bruce Saintilus had a team-high 26 points and eight rebounds as all five starters scored in double figures leading Clark to a 96-90 win over Coast Guard in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) win.

Mikey O'Brien added 20 while Isaiah Taylor (18), Tyler Davern (15) and Biko Gayman (13) also scored in double figures for Clark which improves to 13-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

Tyler Perez led all scorers with a career-high 29 points for Coast Guard as he connected on six of seven from 3-point range while Declan Rooney added a career best 17 points to go with six assists off the bench.

Garrett Drummond added 12 points and a team-high seven assists for the Bears. Madison Maloney had a game-high 10 rebounds to lead Coast Guard which dropped to 3-8 overall and 0-2 in the NEWMAC.

Clark was 33 of 73 from the field (45.2 percent) and made 16 of 34 from 3-point range (47.1 percent). The Bears shot a season-high 48.4 percent (31 of 64) and hit 15 of 28 from downtown, a season-high 53.6 percent.

Clark would use a 12-0 run in the final two minutes of the first half to turn a 39-39 tie into a 51-39 halftime lead.

The Cougars led 62-48 with 16:12 before the Bears used a 12-3 run to cut the deficit to 65-60 with 13:34 left.

Coast Guard trimmed the lead to 77-76 on a layup by Maloney with 6:16 left.

Daven scored back-to-back buckets giving the Cougars an 87-81 lead with 3:25 remaining.

Perez made the score 87-85 on a layup with 2:48 left before Saintilus made a pair of free throws and Daven hit a huge 3-pointer to seal the win and make the score 92-85 with 1:44 left.

Coast Guard is back in action on Monday in a NEWMAC game at Emerson at 1:00.
