Box Score 2 CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Coast Guard saw its 10-match winning streak come to an end with a 3-1 loss to MIT in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) game before bouncing back with a 3-1 win over Manhattanville.
The Bears are now 14-2 overall and 3-1 in the NEWMAC.
Coast Guard is back in action on Tuesday night when it hosts Springfield at 7:00.
MIT 3, COAST GUARD 1

Freshman Amanda Dake led the Bears with 11 kills while sophomore Bridget Boyle added 10 kills for the Bears.
Junior Makenna Martin had a team-high 21 assists while freshman Lauren Hatfield led the way with 14 digs and sophomore Veronica Hine finished with 12 digs and four aces. Freshman Nikki Sefcik led the way with five aces.
COAST GUARD 3, MANHATTANVILLE 1
(16-25, 25-14, 25-13, 25-18)
The Bears dropped the opening set before winning three straight for the non-conference win as Hatfield hit .417 and registered a team-high 11 kills and 12 digs.
Boyle again added 10 kills and Dake finished with eight kills and Martin led the Bears with 21 assists while Sefcik added 19 assists and three aces.
