NEW LONDON, Conn. – Sophomores Mark Guentert and Weston Fortna won at number one doubles for Coast Guard, but that was all the Bears could muster in a 8-1 loss to Vassar.
 Guentert and Fortna won 8-4 while sophomore Robert Renfrow and freshman Bruce Kim lost 8-5 at #2 doubles in a close match.
In singles action, both Guentert (#1 singles) and Renfrow (#2 singles) played well but were beaten in straight sets. Guenert lost 7-6 (4), 6-3 while Renfrow fell 6-4, 7-5.
 Coast Guard drops to 0-3 on the season.
 The Bears are off for two weeks before hosting Division I Holy Cross on Saturday, Feb. 22nd at 1 p.m.
