United States Coast Guard Academy men's soccer senior
Cole Miller (Annapolis, Md.) has been named a "Player to Watch" by the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) for the upcoming 2026 season, as announced in a release from the league this morning.
Miller enjoyed a breakout 2025 campaign as a junior, leading the Bears with 13 points behind a team-high six goals. He was named NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for his two-goal performance at Emerson College, and later netted the opening goal in Coast Guard's NEWMAC Tournament semifinal match-up at Babson College. The Maryland product scored three game-winning goals, sharing a four-way tie for the league lead, and was one of two Bears to be named First Team All-Conference.
Miller and the Coast Guard men's soccer team will open their 2026 campaign on September 1st, taking a road trip to Waltham, Massachusetts, for a 4:00 p.m. meeting with the Judges of Brandeis University. Brandeis is entering the season ranked 18th in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason poll.
