Going into the day, Coast Guard Wrestling Head Coach
Kevin Bratland needed three dual wins to reach 100 in his tenure at CGA. Bratland's Bears did that and then some with a clean 4-0 sweep in their duals at the Manganaro Duals hosted by Ursinus College. Coach Bratland with the wins today is now 101-38 in his time at Coast Guard and 171-85-1 overall.
Coast Guard won each of the four duals in comfortable fashion, Albright College(32-12), Alvernia University(29-12), Shippensburg(41-3), and Ursinus(49-6). The Bears had five men go 3-0 on the day: 125

Nathan Fitt(Branchville, NJ), 165
Landon Kearns(East Brunswick, NJ), 197
Kevin Pandorf(Elmer, NJ), and 285
Carl DiGiorgio(Doylestown, PA). Beato, Kearns, and DiGiorgio each earned one forfeit victory and won their other two bouts by technical fall or major decision. Senior co-captain Nate Fitt was dominant in all three of his bouts. He won two by way of pin before winning the third 19-3 by tech fall. Pandorf on the other hand was involved in three intense battles that were won closely by decision with the senior winning 6-1, 11-6, and 4-2.Â
Beyond the five aforementioned men, the Bears had two other victors vs Albright, 133
Owen Woolcott(State College, PA) and freshman 174
Mason Gourley(Clarion, PA) both of whom were competing in their home state of Pennsylvania. Gourley was also a major decision winner(9-0) in the Alvernia dual.Â
Versus Shippensburg, Gourley passed the torch to
Thomas Rhodes(Last Forest Park, WA) and Rhodes kept the winning ways at 174 going with a 15-2 major decision victory. 141

Chase Mayes(Nolensville, TN) each notched victories in the Shippensburg dual. Edwards and Mayes won by major decision, while Moyer pitched a shutout in a 5-0 decision.
