MANHEIM, Pa. —
16 cadet-athletes from the United States Coast Guard Academy wrestling team were recognized at National Wrestling Coaches Association (NCWA) Scholar All-Americans following the conclusion of the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships. The number is a program record for the USCGA wrestling program as well as the second-highest among all NCAA Division III institutions, while the team's cumulative grade point average of 3.59 ranked 27th nationally.
A total of 473 student-athletes representing 105 institutions were honored with the distinction. To be recognized, one must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 over a minimum of their last two semesters, wrestle at least 15 matches on the season, and win two-thirds of those matches or place at their Regional Championship.
