In the always important rivalry matchup vs Merchant Marine, the Coast Guard wrestling team came out victorious over the Mariners 35-18. This marks the 6th consecutive times the Bears have won the rivalry matchup.
For Merchant Marine, the loss drops them to 9-6 and closes out their regular season. They will travel to Gettysburg, PA on Saturday February 15th for the Centennial Conference Championships.
The Bears earned their 35 points, winning their first six matches of the evening. Leading off the evening, 125

Caden Stout(St. Clairsville, OH) was victorious by a score of 18-1. The one match that ended by way of decision for the Bears was an 8-2 decision victory for 141

The win for #15 Coast Guard improves them to 12-1 on the 2024-25 campaign. On Sunday February 23rd, they will travel to the NEWA Futures Tournament, hosted by Western New England University.
