NEW LONDON, Conn. --

The 2026 Coast Guard Baseball schedule has been released! The 39 game slate will get underway in late February for the Bears.

"We are looking forward to the challenges that this year's schedule presents." said head coach Brian Casey. "We are playing some of the best programs from the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, including our 16-game NEWMAC conference slate which is always a battle."

Last season, Coast Guard finished 12-4 in the highly competitive NEWMAC Conference. Overall, they set a program record with 26 wins.

"The early season overnight trips to NJ and VA/DC are great opportunities for us to play other great programs from out of region." coach Casey continued. "We are grateful for the administrative and alumni support that allows us to have these opportunities. It gives a chance early on to see what we got."

The Bears will return 26 men, four of which have All-Region pedigree. 

Coach Casey concluded, "Our goal every year is to challenge ourselves by scheduling the best competition possible. We want to find out how good this 2026 team can be. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all comes together and where we can take things this season."
