NEW LONDON, Conn. — 

This year's edition of the annual Secretaries' Cup rivalry football game between the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy is scheduled to be re-aired on ESPNU on Sunday at 4:00 PM ET.

The Secretaries' Cup has been presented as a live broadcast since 2017 on ESPN+. Historically alternating between the campuses of both academies, this season's game was played at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, the home of Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox franchise. The Fenway playing surface is used for various events outside of the MLB season and has become a site for NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision games in recent seasons.

This season's game came down to the wire, ending in a 39-38 score after Merchant Marine scored late and successfully forced time to run out on a potential game-winning drive for the Bears. Over 7,000 tickets were sold for the event, which acted as Fenway's inaugural football game of 2025.
