Hensley's first career All-Region nods come after his New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference selections. He put himself on the NEFW's radar early on in the season, earning the group's prestigious Gold Helmet award for his Week 1 performance of 344 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns at University of New England. The junior ended up as the NEWMAC's leader in every major rushing stat, including rushing yards (1,565), yards per carry (156.5), and rushing touchdowns (18). Hensley's impact was also well-displayed outside of the run game as the NEWMAC's leader in all-purpose yards per game (181.5) and total touchdowns (21).
Martin earns his first career All-Region picks after anchoring a Bears offensive line that contributed to the NEWMAC's top offense. Martin and CGA's o-line protected the pocket to give passers time to put up a league-leading 237.9 passing yards per game and cleared the way for a third-best 221.1 rushing yards per game. Those marks combined made up a conference-best 459 yards of total offense per game. The o-line itself was one of the best in the NEWMAC with Martin on the field, finishing with the second-fewest tackles for a loss per game (3.4) and tied for fourth in sacks allowed per game (1.4). Martin himself has never allowed a sack in all for years of his career.
Desta's selections add a couple more accolades to what may have been the greatest receiving career in Bears football history. Desta finished his collegiate career as the program's all-time leader in receptions (243), receiving yards (3,613), and receiving touchdowns (34) and a four-time All-NEWMAC selection. He was once-again one of the league's top pass-catchers this season, leading the way in receiving yards (980) and receiving yards per game (98.0) and finished second in receptions per game (5.3) and tied for third receiving touchdowns (8).
