MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — 

Cole Miller (Annapolis, Md.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men's soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week (week ending October 12th).

Miller's showing this past Saturday at Emerson College was the deciding factor in his recognition. The junior scored both goals unassisted in Coast Guard's 2-0 win in Boston, continuing his strong form in conference play as of late. Miller scores the game-winner in the Bears' previous NEWMAC match-up at WPI by way of an 89th-minute header.

Miller and Bears men's soccer face mid-week non-conference action on Tuesday at 4 p.m., taking a short trip up the road to face rivals Connecticut College (5-2-4). The Camels won at Nitchman, 3-0, last year in the midst of a dream season that saw them reach the National Championship game, where they fell to New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) foes Amherst College.
