NEW LONDON, Conn. - Tennis hosted Clark in the NEWMAC home opener, downing the Cougars with a win of 7-2.

In doubles action, the Bears started off strong winning two out of the two contests. Sean Dreher and Ben Bonetto scored the first point of the day winning 8-1 at 2^nd doubles. The Bears 2^nd point came from 24^th ranked Myles Decoste and Charles Norman with an 8-3 victory at 1^st doubles. Clark scored their first point of the match with an 8-3 victory at 3^rd doubles.

In Singles, Coast Guard kept the momentum going with Decoste scoring their 4^th point at 1^st singles with a 6-0 6-0 victory. Norman clinched the match at 2^nd singles with a 6-1 6-2 victory. Bonetto and Logan De Los Santos were also straight set winners at 4^th and 5^thsingles.
