Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. - Women's Lacrosse was on the road taking on Clark in their final regular season game before the start of the NEWMAC Tournament, taking down the Cougars with a commanding 19-2 win.
Coast Guard shutout Clark the entire first half as they put up 14 goals.
Caitlyn Coates put up the first of 10 goals in the first quarter.
Kira Howard led off in the second to put CGA up, 11-0. They added three more before the end of the first 30.Â
The second half started with Clark getting its first goal of the game. The Bears still outscored the Cougars three goals to two. Heading into the final quarter, CGA was leading, 17-2.
The final 15 saw two more goals by the Bears to close out the game, 19-2.
Coates led both teams with six goals, followed by
Addy Bass with four.
Abby McAllister led all players in assists with eight.Â
Coast Guard will now go on to play in the NEWMAC Tournament on April 27th. Time and team are TBA.Â
