NEW LONDON, Conn. -

The Bears came through in a nail-biter over Connecticut College in their final home match of the season. In doubles action, 24^th ranked Myles Decoste and Charles Norman were the first point on the board for Coast Guard with an 8-1 win. Connecticut College evened the score at 1-1 with an 8-3 win at 3^rddoubles. In the most competitive contest of the day, Sean Dreher and Ben Bonetto came back from a break down to win 8-7 at 2^nd doubles.

In Singles Action, Charles Norman extended the lead to 3-1 after being up 5-0 in the first set. His opponent had to pull out with an injury. The Camels struck back with straight set victories at 3^rd, 5^th, and 6^th singles. Freshman Ben Bonetto had a straight set victory of his own at 4^th singles, tying the score at 4-4. Myles Decoste clinched the 5^th point for the Bears with 6-3, 6-3 victory at 1^st singles in the final deciding match of the day.

The Bears are next in action on Saturday at noon at Babson for the Newmac Semifinal.
