ORLANDO, Flo. - Coast Guard Tennis continued its Spring Break Trip with a bounce-back watch against Colby-Sawyer, winning 8-1.
In doubles action, 24 ranked Myles Decoste and Charles Norman won the first point of the day with an 8-3 victory. At 2nd doubles, Sean Dreher and Ben Bonetto were 8-2 winners. At 3rd doubles, Logan De Los Santos and Brendan Love came back from a break down to win 8-7 in a tiebreaker, completing the doubles sweep for the Bears.
In singles action, Decoste got off to an early start winning 6-0, 6-2 at 1st singles. Norman clinched the 5th point for the Bears with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at 2nd singles. Bonetto and De Los Santos were also straight set winners at 4th and 5th singles, respectively. Dreher finished off the last match of the day with a 7-5, 6-4 victory at T singles.
Coast Guard is next in action against Coe College on Tuesday March 12 to finish out their spring trip. The match is at 9:30am at The Racquet Club of Cocao Beach.
