BABSON PARK, Mass. - Coast Guard Volleyball couldn't seem to find their groove Saturday as they fell to Babson 3-2 and Colby College 3-0.
In game one against Babson, CGA lost set one, but won two straight, forcing five sets against the Beavers.
Bears got up 2-0 on the Beavers the first set, but would end up falling to them 25-16.
CGA would lead by as much as seven points in the second set, and secure the win in set two.
In set three, the Bears would lead almost the entire set. After leading the Beavers by as much as 11 points, the Bears would secure the 25-14 win in set three.
The Babson Beavers would get on the scoreboard first in the next two sets and end up with the 3-2 lead over the Coast Guard Bears.

Maeve Duffin handed out 35 assists and
Kaela France led all players with 32 digs in the loss for the Bears.
In game two against Colby College, CGA would fall three sets to none.
In set number one, the Mules would take a commanding 8-0 lead. Despite the Bears efforts to catch up, they would fall 25-16 in the first set.
Despite nine ties in set number two, the Bears would fall in set two, 25-20.
In the third set, Bears would get on the board first and lead by as much as five, the Mules would battle back and take set three, 24-22.
Shannon Shaw led the Bears with 10 kills against Colby, Duffin led both teams with 31 assists and France led both teams with 18 digs.
CGA Volleyball will look to remedy these two losses as they look to beat Wheaton at 6 PM this Tuesday in Norton, MA.
