NEW LONDON, Conn. -- This month, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association announced the athletes from NCAA Division I, II and III that earned All-Academic Status.
In order to make the All-Academic Team, athletes had to earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale through the most recently completed grading period. Institutions utilizing a different GPA scale must convert the GPA to a 4.0 scale using the standard conversion method [GPA/Scale x 4.0]. Data must be certifiable by the institution's registrar.
From Coast Guard, Madison Garrigus of Women's Traack & Field was the only one from her team to make this prestigious list.
On the Men's Track & Field Team, both Tanner Johannsen and Preston Cecotti made the men's All-Academic List.
As a team, the Women's Track & Field Team also earned a team cumulative GPA of 3.32.
Congratulations to our athletes for their hard work and dedication on and off the field.
