CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Women's Lacrosse traveled to take on conference unbeaten MIT in a battle where the Bears fell, 20-13.

The first 20 mintes were riddled with back and forth scoring. The Bears put up the first point of the game off a goal by Abby McAllister. Sarah Skurat gave CGA a 2-0 lead just two and a half minutes later. MIT got its first goal halfway into the first quarter.

After another couple of goals, the game was tied going into the second quarter. 

Gianna Cascio gave the Bears back the lead with 11:20 left in the half. It would be the only goal for the Bears in the second period as MIT took the lead for the rest of the game. 

Despite the efforts by the Bears, the Engineers pulled away in the second half. Coast Guard ultimately fell, 20-13.

Cascio and Addy Bass led the Bears in scoring with three a piece. Shannon Schmidt and Caitlyn Coates each had two.

Coast Guard will host Smith on April 15th at 12 PM.
