Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. - Women's Basketball took on Conn College tonight, getting their third straight win after defeating the Camels, 80-53. 

While the Camels got the first points of the game, it was one of only two baskets they scored in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the Bears scored 19 straight points, to take a commanding 19-5 lead at the end of the first. 

CGA continued to lead by double digits for the second quarter, holding their largest lead of the half going into the break at 37-18. The Bears ended the first half with three straight baskets from beyond the arc.

The third quarter, Coast Guard continued to build on its lead. At the end of the third, CGA was leading by 38 points. They outscored Conn, 27-11.

To start off the final 10 minutes, the Bears were up, 64-29. They continued to hold onto the large lead for the rest of the game, ultimately getting the 80-53 win.

Glory Blethen led all scorers with 18 and Julia Mann led both teams in rebounds with 13. Kira Wood put up 17 points and five rebounds. Kelly Hagerty recorded 14 points and seven rebounds. 

Coast Guard stands at 8-2 heading into Christmas Break. They will face Russell Sage on the road on New Years Eve at 1 PM.
