NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The Coast Guard Bears lost at home on Wednesday to Trinity College by a score of 67-45. With the loss, the Bears fall to 1-5; Trinity improves to 4-1.

Kira Wood led the Bears with 14 points, followed by Kelly Hagerty with 11 points off the bench. Julia Mann led the Bears with six rebounds; Lily Mika had three steals. The Bears were able to force the Bantams into 16 turnovers. 

The Bears found themselves down early after the first quarter, 16-5. They fought back to within eight at half with a score of 29-21. However, the Bantams would outscore the Bears in both teh thrid and fourth quarters, securing the win. Reilly Campbell led all scorers with 18. 

Trinity outshot the Bears all around, 45.6%-28.6% from the floor, 30.8%-11.1% from three, and 78.6%-70% from the free throw line. 

The Bears are back in action on Friday, December 2 at home as they take on Wesleyan at 7 PM.
