Box Score TROY, N.Y. -- Despite career-highs from Julia Mann and Lily Mika, the Bears dropped the game on the road to RPI in overtime, 83-78. The Bears fall to 1-2; RPI improves to 1-3.
Mann led the Bears with a game-high 20 points followed by Mika with 19, Dorothy Stotts and Jacqueline Ward added 11 and 10, respectively.
The Bears held a 15-point lead with 4:19 to go in the fourth quarter, but RPI scored 24 of the final 35 points in regulation to force overtime. The Bears were outscored 12-7 in the extra five minutes.
RPI outshot the Bears from the floor (40.0%) and the three (36.8%). The Bears held the margin in free throw percentage (75%). The Engineers outrebounded the Bears 62-48, with 18 offensive rebounds. The Bears forced 18 RPI turnovers.
The Bears are back in action on Saturday, November 19, as they head to Kings Point to take on the Mariners of Merchant Marine in hopes of securing a point in the Superintendents' Trophy race.
