Bears Rally for Road Win at Trinity

HARTFORD, Conn. -- Sophia Galdamez had a match-high 11 kills to go with nine digs while Bella Fleeger added 10 kills and five blocks leading Coast Guard to a come-from-behind 3-1 win over host Trinity in a non-conference match.

The Bears dropped the opener 27-25 before winning three straight 26-24, 25-22, 25-18 to improve to 8-4 on the season. Trinity drops to 3-6.

Kaela France led the Bears with 21 digs, Noelle Tursky added a team-high 39 assists to go with 18 digs while Carmen Zipf finished with 10 digs in the win.

The Bears are back in action on Saturday when the play a pair of matches against host Wheaton at 11:00 and UMass-Dartmouth at 1:00.
