Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. -- Freshman Kelly Hagerty scored 10 points with 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the season, leading Coast Guard women's basketball to an 83-45 win over Albertus Magnus in a non-conference game on Wednesday night.
Coast Guard improves to 4-3 on the season while the Falcons drop to 0-5.
The Bears had four players in double figures with senior Emma Puddington leading the way with 16, Kyra Hartman with 14 points, and Hagerty and freshman Julia Mann with 10 points each.
Katherine Raposo led Albertus with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Coast Guard held a seven-point advantage in the opening quarter, 19-12. The Bears had a 13-2 run to open the second quarter to give them a 32-14 advantage before ending the half with a 41-24 edge.
The Bears outscored the Falcons 25-6 in the third to take control of the game.
Coast Guard held a 64-40 edge in rebounding including 24 offensive rebounds.
