Box Score 2 BABSON PARK, Mass. – Coast Guard split a pair of matches at Babson as the Bears lost to host No. 24 Babson 3-0 before beating Vassar 3-2.
Coast Guard is now 13-5 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
The Bears are back in action on Thursday night at Salve Regina at 7:00.

The Beavers won 25-12, 25-21, 26-24.
Amanda Dake led the Bears with 13 kills to go with seven digs while Noelle Tursky had a team-high 18 assists to go with six kills. Veronica Hine led the Bears with nine digs.
COAST GUARD 3, VASSAR 2
For the second time this week, the Bears trailed 2-1 and rallied for a five set win. Coast Guard won 25-18, 23-25, 21-25, 28-26, 15-10.
Dake again led the way with 19 kills while adding 12 digs and Bridget Boyle added ten kills in the win. Makenna Martin had a team-high 30 assists while Tursky added 24 assists and nine kills.
The Bears fought off a pair of match points in the fourth, trailing 24-23 and 26-25 before the Bears scored three straight including a pair of kills by Tursky to win 28-26 to force the fifth set.
The fifth set was tied 7-7 before the Bears scored eight of the final 11 points for the win.
