Box Score 2 BOSTON, Mass. – Coast Guard picked up two more wins to run its win streak to nine straight as the Bears beat Emerson 3-1 and Endicott 3-2 at Emerson.
The Bears improve to 12-1 overall and 2-0 in the NEWMAC. The 12-1 start is the best start for the program since 2009 when the team started 13-1.
The Bears are back in action on Tuesday night when they host Mount Holyoke at 7:00.
COAST GUARD 3, EMERSON 1

Freshman Amanda Dake recorded a career-high 19 kills to go with 20 digs leading Coast Guard to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) win.
Junior Angelou Dunton added nine kills and 11 digs while freshman Destiny Johnson hit .316 with seven kills in the win while junior Makenna Martin led the Bears with 30 assists.
Sophomore Veronica Hine led the way with 25 digs while freshman Nikki Sefcik added 12 digs in the win.
COAST GUARD 3, ENDICOTT 2
(25-20, 21-15, 15-25, 25-20, 15-8)
Dunton hit .438 with a team-high 17 kills to go with 14 digs as Coast Guard ralled from a 2-1 deficit to run its win streak to nine straight.
Dake added nine kills and 10 digs while Hine had a team-high 22 digs for the Bears. Freshman Lauren Hatfield (13), Martin (10) and Sefcik (10) also had double figure digs in the win. Martin led the way with 25 assists and Sefcik finished with 24.
