NEW LONDON, Conn. - Senior Dan Fiorvanti was naned Pilgrim Wrestling Conference Wrestler of the Week for his performance this past weekend at Bridgewater State,

Fiorvanti takes the ninth honor of the year. Fiorvanti propelled Coast Guard to their 18-15 win over WPI last weekend with his win at 184 pounds avenging a loss to Dan Wensley from two weeks prior.

Fiorvanti has wrestled the past four years at both 174 and 184 pounds combining for a record of 56-54. He won a career high 23 matches during his sophomore season and has won by fall 14 times at the Academy. Fiorvanti had his best finish at the NCAA Northeast Regional last season finishing in fifth place.

Coast Guard is action tonight against archrival Merchant Marine. Senior Ceremony will begin at 6:50 followed by the match at 7:00.
