Box Score BEVERLY, Mass. – Emma Mancini hit .511 and had 28 kills leading Endicott to a 3-1 win over Coast Guard in the final non-conference game of the season.
The Gulls improve to 17-9 overall while the Bears drop to 16-12 on the season.
Freshman Bridget Boyle led Coast Guard with 19 kills to go with 10 digs while senior Michelle McGill led the Bears with 14 digs. Sophomore Makenna Martin had a team-high 32 assists along with 13 digs.
The Bears led 9-6 in the opening set before Endicott ran off eight straight for a 14-9 lead and won it 25-16.
The Gulls would use a 6-0 run in the second set erasing a 12-9 deficit to take a 15-12 lead. Coast Guard would regain the lead 18-17 and the Bears led 24-23 and held on for the 26-24 win.
In the third set, Endicott scored the first five points and led 7-1 and 13-4 en route to the 25-16 win.
Endicott used an 8-1 run to build a 14-6 lead in the fourth and closed out the match with a 25-13 win.
The Bears close out the regular season at Saturday with a NEWMAC match at Wheaton beginning at 1:00.
