BRISTOL, R.I. - In the battle of nationally ranked teams, No. 6 Roger Williams topped No. 24 Coast Guard 25-10 Thursday night in a Pilgrim League matchup.

With the loss the Bears fall to 3-2 on the season in dual meets while the Hawks improve to 9-0.

Senior Matthew McAllister (16-5) earned the first victory of the day taking a 7-2 decision over Matt Elias at 141 pounds.

Sophomore Nick Remke (16-3) was the highlight of the night for Coast Guard as he won a 11-5 decision over No. 4 Alec Golner at 165 pounds.

Freshman Patrick Irwin (6-6) wrapped up the dual for the Bears with a 9-1 major decision over Adam Patsun at 285 pounds.

Coast Guard is back in action this Saturday when they travel to Northfield, Vermont to take on Norwich, Western New England and No.3 Johnson and Wales. First match will start at 12:00 pm.
