Along with the seven athletes, Bears Head Coach
Sarah Price was selected to coach the North Atlantic 7s all star team.
"These selections speak volumes to the hard work and dedication these athletes put into their development and conditioning as rugby players," said Coach Price. "It was very exciting to have such extensive representation for our program and the Academy in this tournament. All CGA players had a great weekend and showed off their talent and skills in front of scouts for various high performance programs and professional teams."
For her performance in the tournament, newly crowned National Player of the Year
Kate Boggs was named to the All-Tournament Team.
"I am so proud of my teammates and myself for being selected for the All Star tournament," said Boggs. "This is the first year that NCR has had a 15s tournament and for all of us to be selected to represent the Coast Guard on a big stage is amazing. We got to play with players from all over the country, grow our rugby community, and create teammates for life."
