CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Men's Lacrosse was on the road facing MIT, struggling to score against the Engineers, falling with a final score of 16-3.
CGA was playing from behind from the start as MIT put up the first four goals of the game. The Bears didn't get on the board until under two minutes left in the opening 15 off a goal by
Ian Feely.
From there, the Engineers continued to add on. Heading into halftime, the Bears were down, 7-1.
Coast Guard would not add another goal until there was only eight and a half minutes left in the game. By then, the score was 12-2. The Bears got one more by
Noah Heller, but it wasn't enough as CGA dropped the road game, 16-3.
Bears goalkeepers had 15 total saves.
Matt Reheuser recorded 10 of them, followed by
Brett Tobasky with three and
Eli Hinson with two.
Coast Guard will next host Springfield on April 13th at 3 PM.
