WPI struck early on by putting up three runs in the bottom of the first. They added on in both the third and fourth innings.

Coast Guard had runners on in first three innings, but was unable to get any runs across.

With the Bears down by nine, the game ended in five innings.

Game two, CGA redeemed themselves to come from behind and take game two, 10-7.

Coast Guard got one back in the top of the third off a single by Isabelle Shroyer that brought in Christine Carey, cutting WPI's lead to three.

The Engineers added on in the home half, bringing across two, making the score 7-2

CGA struck again in the top of the fifth with a solo shot by Dana Walker that brought the Bears within four.
