BABSON PARK, Mass. - Men's Lacrosse was on the road for their final conference game of the season, falling to Babson with a final score of 13-7.
The Beavers opened the game with a goal just about a minute and a half in. The Bears tied it up at one at the 8:45 mark, scored by
Eric Key.
From there, Babson scored three more, Coast Guard trailing, 4-1, heading into the second quarter.Â
The Bears outscored the Beavers in the second 15, four goals to their three. Key scored three consecutive goals, with
Ryan Hunter rounding it out.Â
Going into halftime, CGA was trailing only by two with a score of 7-5.
Into the third quarter, the Bears struggled to keep things rolling as they failed to score in the entire 15 minutes. The defense wasn't able to stop Babson, as they added four goals.Â
Both teams scored two goals, Coast Guard's coming from Hunter. CGA wasn't able to pull off a comeback, falling with a final of 13-7.
Key led the Bears in goal with four, followed by Hunter with three.
Matt Reheuser recorded 11 saves for CGA.Â
Coast Guard will have one more game before the end of the season, taking on Conn on the road on April 29th at 6 PM.Â
