Women's Lacrosse Scores 23 in Win Over Mount Holyoke

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Women's Lacrosse was on the road taking on Mount Holyoke, hitting a program high 23 three goals in the 23-1 victory over the Lyons.

Coast Guard took control of the game early on, outscoring Mount Holyoke in the first quarter, 9-0. Laine Weber had the first goal for the Bears about a minute and 15 seconds into the game. Four other Bears scored in the first quarter, Abby McAllister tallying three, with Caitlyn Coates and Aislinn Murray adding two a piece. Isabella Judge also got in on the action with one. 

CGA then put up six more goals in the second quarter, while the defense shutout MHU in the first half, heading into the break up 15-0.

The Lyons got their first goal of the game in the third quarter, while the Bears added for more. They matched it in the final 15, to take the 23-1 win.

Coates and McAllister led both teams in scoring with six, followed by Weber with four. Kira Howard, Judge and Murray each added two, with Katharine Rott getting one. 

Coast Guard is now 8-4 overall and 3-3 in conference. The next game will be at home, taking on Emerson at 12 PM on April 13th.
